Enigma Equipment Crampon Bag

The Enigma Equipment Crampon Bag is perfect for storing and transporting your crampons.

The bag has been designed with input from Nathan Kutcher, who is a two-time Ouray Ice Fest winner, a member of the Canadian National Ice Climbing Team, and has repeated and established numerous difficult drytool and mixed routes. With such an impressive resume, it’s fair to say he knows a thing or two about ice-climbing gear. When it comes to crampon bags, Kutcher wants durability, simplicity and versatility. The new Enigma Equipment Crampon Bag checks off all these boxes.

Built with a double layer of 1000D Cordura, bound seams, and bartack-reinforced stress points, the Crampon Bag offers durability in spades. The bag’s straight-forward pouch-and-flap design epitomizes simplicity; it eliminates fiddly zippers and is easy to use even in sub-zero temps. From a versatility perspective, the bag is roomy enough to hold a pair of crampons or fruit boots (one boot per bag). The versatility continues with the addition of multiple lash points on the back of the bag. These allow you to choose between storing your crampons in your pack or affixing them to the outside.

Route developers can also rejoice (I bet you didn’t see that transition coming?). The Crampon Bag is large and durable enough to store wire brushes and other pointy scraping tools, saving your pack from unexpected punctures and preventing tangles with webbing, ropes and other climbing gear.

Get one (or two). You won’t be disappointed.
